What will you do:
Maintaining excellent relationship with the Client.
Prepare and deliver VAT registers for VAT returns.
Prepare Intrastat reports, ECSL ECPL and other VAT related reports if required.
Ensure timely reporting of VAT and comply with tax operational standards and procedures.
Reconcile VAT, Intrastat and ECSL ECPL reporting data.
Provide assistance for tax issues and ad hoc matters.
Support team members or other teams AP, AR on correct tax treatment and VAT coding.
Proactively identifying opportunities for improvement, driving new implementations increasing the quality or automation of VAT reporting.
Performing other tax related daily tasks and interacting with team members.
What we expect from you:
At least 3 years of experience in tax operations or tax compliance
Very good English and Polish language skills - both written and spoken
Proficiency in handling Polish VAT reporting with solid knowledge of local VAT regulations and compliance requirements
University degree in accounting or related field preferred
Professional experience in SSC BPO or Big4 would be an advantage
Practical skills in MS Office tools at a user level, and high Microsoft Excel skills
SAP knowledge in tax accounting area
Analytical skills with proactive approach
Precision and attention to details, very good organizational skills
