JOB DESCRIPTION
Main Responsibilities: (หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ)
Guarantee compliance with BOS, PLUS, POS, SOX procedure for all Team / Group Members
- Control and approvals of all program purchasing activities and decisions in line with customer demands and commodity strategies starting from phase 0 and over lifetime
- Responsibility for achieving the country Purchasing goal-and action-plans. Meet or exceed profit plan goals: Cost savings, economics, quality, supplier’s rationalization, LCC % content and other agreed objectives
- Lead, motivate, support and develop employees in the purchasing organization
- Provide financial expertise/support in terms of PD2 specifications, tooling + investments budgets, customer conditions, cost tracking, etc. so that program targets and purchasing goals are met
- Guarantee financial control over the programs from phase 0-5 and over lifetime
- Coordinate the supply chain requirements e.g. when/how to source, early sourcing, cross program supplier selection etc.
- Guarantee integration and communication with SDT Teams
- Ensure smooth project launches by controlling the acquisition, sourcing on time, in line with cost book and MoB target, maintaining purchasing results until SOP
- Support of proper Make or buy decisions
- Guarantee compliance with BOS, PLUS and POS procedures Improvement of program-profitability as well as of all purchasing activities for the purpose of continuous improvement through global sourcing, long/life-time reduction etc.

- Communicating to keep update the safety finding often about safety: safety talk, injury prevention the objective and target achievement.
- Support & assisting in Safety activity and initiative: AMS, safety plan tour, lesson learnt implementation, HSE training, suggestion, near miss report, safety week, wear proper PPE."
- Conduct Risk Assessments on activities within their department ensuring that the methods and systems of work are safe. Also, that the necessary procedures, rules and regulations designed to achieve this are formulated, published and applied.
Qualifications (Education, Skills, and Experiences)
- Bachelor’s or Master Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related technical field.
- Minimum 10 years within automotive or commodity related industry
- Minimum 10 years as Purchasing manager
- Purchasing experience, operational and strategic involvement
- In depth understanding of purchasing tools and practices
- Controlling and cost analysis knowledge
- Leadership skills
- Relevant SAP knowledge
- Good Personality, Leadership demonstrated, Creative problem-solving skills and good team playing
- Good Attitude, Positive Thinking and willing to handle situation with open mind.
- Ability to work as a good team member and motivate the team working as a group.
- Good Leadership within the organization
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Computer Literacy
- Ability to work independently and in a self-directed manner with minimal guidance
