In this role, you will work to provide data driven insight that will drive better and faster decision making with respect to Customer Experience initiatives.

You will create, manage, and implement data visualizations and AI/ML end to end solutions that will have wide-ranging influence, including customer experience and digital platform development. You will creatively use a broad range of statistical techniques and advanced analytical tools in a continual learning environment. While your focus will be on providing analysis and data visualization, you will also perform some data engineering tasks.

What you'll do:

  • Create business-critical data visualizations and compelling stories and presentations from data.
  • Leverage a wide range of statistical techniques (e.g. regression, clustering, segmentation, experimental design, data mining, etc.) and tools (e.g., Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Python, SAS, etc).
  • Create, validate, deploy, and monitor performance of AI/ML and statistical models based on large datasets.
  • Ensure overall quality of the data and solutions throughout the analytical development process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and develop a strong understanding of Ford Credit business to provide the best analytical solutions.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Econometrics, Physics, Industrial Engineering, Data Science.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI)
  • Experience in at least two of the following languages/tools: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Non-GCP Cloud Experience, Python, SAS, and/or SQL
  • Experience and robust knowledge of AI/ML and statistical methods
  • Exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and training machine learning models.
  • Interest in learning new technologies

Preferred experience:

  • Master's or PhD
  • Experience with Power BI to create dashboards.
  • Experience with GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and AI Platform, Vertex AI
  • Strong Python, SAS, SQL skills
  • Experience with using AI/ML and/or statistics in an applied/industry environment
  • Experience extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data, setting up databases, and creating data pipelines.
  • Experience with manipulating large scale data
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex quantitative methods into business insights and present to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to prioritize efforts, work independently, and progress multiple initiatives concurrently
