Be Empowered with our 10-week Summer Internship ProgrammeDuring the internship, you will support the team in the daily handling of employee-related compliance topics, including:
Reviewing and evaluating employee-related conflicts of interest cases, understanding their nu-ances and resolving selected cases under supervision
Assisting with onboarding of new joiners regarding declarations and assessing employee requests related to mandates, secondary occupations and substantial shareholdings
Handling gifts and entertainment declarations and requests in line with internal policies
Contributing to the preparation of annual compliance reporting and internal reviews
Support in various employee conflicts of interest related global initiatives
Manage administrative tasks independently
What to learn
Understand how conflicts of interest cases are managed in a global financial institution
Learn how regulatory and internal compliance requirements are applied in practice
Develop strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
Gain practical experience in the daily duties of an Employee Related Conflicts Officer
Bachelor student from 2nd year onwards or enrolled Master student in the field(s) of Law, Business Law, Economics, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
Initial practical experience in a professional office environment and skills/knowledge in compliance, risk management or banking topics is a plus
Confidence in using common office tools (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook)
Proactive, with a “hands-on, can-do” attitude and willingness to take on a new challenge
Passion for wealth management and a desire to create value beyond wealth
A global mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong appetite for learning
Fluency in English, with additional languages being a plus
Registered in the country of application with a valid work permit
