Position: Sr. Manager / DGM – Business Development (Infra – HDPE, B2G)
Location: Bangalore
Reporting To: Business Head – Agri, Infra, Industrial & Exports
Role Purpose
To drive aggressive growth of HDPE Infra business in B2G segment by securing large Government and EPC projects in Water Supply, Sewerage, Irrigation and Urban Infrastructure. The role demands strong tendering capability, commercial sharpness, high ownership, and consistent delivery of Order Booking Value (OBV) aligned to AOP.
Key Accountabilities
1. HDPE Infra Revenue Ownership (B2G Focus)
- Deliver committed Order Booking Value (OBV) for HDPE Infra segment.
- Drive project sales in Government-funded water, sewerage, irrigation and infrastructure projects.
- Build and maintain strong pipeline visibility with quarterly closure plan.
- Convert specifications into firm HDPE orders through strong negotiation and closure.
2. Government & EPC Business Development
- Track upcoming tenders across PHED, Jal Boards, Municipal Corporations, Smart Cities and Irrigation Departments.
- Ensure HDPE product approvals and inclusion in DPRs and BOQs.
- Develop strong engagement with Government authorities, EPC contractors, PMC consultants and Infra developers.
3. Tendering & Commercial Strategy
- Lead end-to-end tender lifecycle – evaluation, pricing strategy, submission, negotiation and award.
- Drive competitive yet profitable pricing strategy.
- Conduct techno-commercial risk assessment before bid participation.
- Protect margins while ensuring strong strike rate.
4. Collection & Project Commercial Discipline
- Ensure timely billing, dispatch coordination and payment follow-ups.
- Own receivables and control outstanding.
- Monitor project execution alignment with commercial terms.
5. Strategic Market Expansion
- Develop HDPE Infra growth roadmap from Bangalore base.
- Identify new Government schemes and central/state-funded projects.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and price intelligence.
- Strengthen execution support ecosystem for project servicing.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience
- 12–18 years in Infrastructure / Project Sales.
- Strong exposure to B2G & EPC business.
- Direct experience in HDPE piping for Government projects preferred.
Education
- BE/B.Tech (Civil/Mechanical) mandatory.
- MBA (Marketing) preferred.
