SUMMARY

The Senior (Sr.) Supply Chain Finance Analyst provides key analytical and financial analysis, planning and reporting services and support to the Distribution Center or Omni Fulfillment Center and leaders in the Supply Chain Organization. Leads the day-to-day activities in regard to the reporting, planning and analysis for Distribution Center/Omni Fulfillment Center expenses. Manages the development of financial models and business-related analyses, forecasts and research, and ensure accurate and timely reporting and analysis of financial data. Work closely with key Finance and Supply Chain stakeholders to help establish forecasts and financial performance targets, be an active and engaged participant in identifying productivity projects and other continuous improvement opportunities and eliminate inefficiencies in financial processes.

JOB DUTIES

  • Provide DC/OFC leaders with accurate and predictive financial plans and forecasts. Understand cross-functional factors that affect forecasts and work with DC/OFC and Logistics management to ensure all factors are sufficiently accounted for. Provide leadership and guidance for annual budgeting and monthly reforecasting to DC/OFC management.
  • Manage the enhancement and development of predictive financial models of operations to report and forecast financial performance. Evaluate key drivers and root cause(s) and provide meaningful analysis to explain financial performance and variances to target/commitments.
  • Peer-lead continuous improvement and change initiatives, partnering with offsite analyst counterparts, Supply Chain Management, Engineering and IT when necessary to implement chain-wide. Serve as subject matter expert in processes and programs to train and support DC/OFC needs.
  • Leads capital process management and accounting, including monthly asset accounting (new assets), accruals and reporting for entire Supply Chain.
  • Oversee various cross-functional ad-hoc reporting and analysis requirements, including developing, analyzing and presenting to Supply Chain, Finance and upper level management.
  • Provide general support and assistance to the Manager, Supply Chain Finance and other members of Supply Chain Leadership Team on a variety of topics/duties/tasks.
  • Manage the preparation of the business case(s) and associated financial justification(s) for certain capital expenditure requests.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Education Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree (Major - Business, Finance / Accounting, Logistics or related area)

Education Preferred: Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Logistics or related area

Experience Minimum: 5+ years of financial experience in a retail or distribution operations environment.

Experience Preferred:6+ years of previous supervisory experience in managing the implementation of complex projects.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • This role requires in-person attendance 4 days a week at the Store Support Center (SSC) located in Hudson, OH. Flexibility to work remotely when requested is determined by management and business needs.
  • Travel to distribution centers may be required.
  • Sit or stand at a workstation for extended periods while maintaining focus and productivity.
  • Move around an office space and between buildings on a large campus, including reaching for files, retail product, supplies, or equipment, as well as the ability to adapt to various workstation setups.
  • Work standard business hours and extended hours as needed based on task and project demands.
  • Utilization of all communication styles - written, verbal, electronic options.
  • Lift and carry office supplies, documents, retail product or equipment weighing up to 20 pounds as needed for tasks such as organizing or setting up workstations.
