Job Purpose:

Provide support to the Global Bank Network Management (BNM) team who are responsible for managing agent bank relationships supporting Citi business.

BNM provides best in class banking services to our business partners and clients, while strengthening regulatory compliance, governance, and control over Citi owned bank accounts. BNM global functions include Relationship Management, Regulatory, Bank Expense Optimization, Bank Signatory Management (BSM), Third Party Risk and In Business Risk & Control.

The BSM function is responsible for mitigating risk to Citi by maintaining a signatory repository for all Citi owned and operated bank accounts, monitoring signing authorities and working with various functions to ensure compliance with the Citi Owned Bank Account and Signatory Management Procedure.  Additionally, BSM is responsible for performing the update and distribution of bank signatory documents for the Business supported by BNM.

Job Background:

The AVP - BSM Oversight Officer reports into the Global Head of BSM and supports execution of an Enterprise-wide governance framework to mitigate risk and enhance controls for the Bank Signatory Management Standard with significant efforts in technology enhancements, testing, training, communication, and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• As BSM Oversight Officer, provide support and guidance to team in monitoring bank signatory documents owned outside of Bank Network Management for all Citi-owned and operated bank accounts.
• Work closely with Global BSM Head to establish department / individual goals & assist in providing feedback on employee performance.
• Provide support with training and coaching where necessary.
• As a BSM Oversight Officer, co-ordinate department deliverables and drive projects to completion.
• Enforce minimum requirements when establishing or updating bank account signing authorities.
• Enhance Senior Management’s awareness of risk associated with manual signing authority on Citi owned bank accounts.
• Monitor signing authorities to identify risks and working with various team to mitigate.
• Lead/contribute to function initiatives that focus on risk mitigation.
• Perform monitoring of key controls
• Maintain team procedures to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Additionally, complete any other tasks in connection with the role but not detailed in the current job description, charged by the direct manager, supervisor, or the functional head.

• 5+ years of experience working in risk management and/or complex initiatives.
• Excellent relationship building skills, with experience partnering at all levels of the organization.
• Experience working with and presenting to senior management.
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Strong Power Point, Visio, and Excel skills
• SharePoint knowledge a plus

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$70,720.00 - $106,080.00
