Summary 

 

The Account Coordinator position at Warner Bros. Discovery is the entry level role that leads you towards the path to a successful career within multiplatform media sales. Sales Coordinators provide sales support to Account Executives, Sales Planners, clients and agencies regarding linear media on all US Networks at WBD. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Establish strong business relationships and act as a liaison with advertising agency counterparts and internal Discovery departments including Pricing, Planning & Operations, Linear Commerical Operations, Marketing, Billing and Direct Response. 

  • Respond to all client requests in a timely manner (flighting, revisions, allocations, added value, etc.). 

  • Execute all client orders across all linear platforms, ensuring that they are in approved weekly programming and compliant with all client requirements. 

  • Responding to clients in a timely manner to ensure meeting the needs of the clients requests 

  • Handle program and commercial changes and issue change notices to clients 

  • Work with Account Executive, Sales Planners and the Marketing department on promotional assets, material deadlines, and approvals.  

  • Work closely with Linear Commerical Operations to schedule promotional assets. 

  • Reconcile billing discrepancies with agencies and billing department. 

  • Perform other responsibilities as directed by Sales Support Management, Account Executives and/or Vice President(s) Ad Sales for your assigned networks and agencies. 

 

Requirements 

  • Strong computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) 

  • Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional groups 

  • High level of organizational skills and the ability to prioritize 

  • Learns and applies new information, concepts, and techniques in area of practice 

  • Great verbal and written communication skills 

  • Ability to work in a deadline driven environment 

  • Strong problem solving skills and customer service skills 

  • Detail oriented and team player 

  • Must be able to work collaboratively with team members 

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies 

  • Must be able and willing to provide overtime work when necessary 

  • Previous related experience is a plus 

  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $37,800.00 - $70,200.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
