Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring software applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding requirements and translating them into functional solutions. The workday often includes collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with organizational goals and provide effective support for operational activities. Continuous refinement and adjustment of applications to meet evolving business demands are also key aspects of the daily routine.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze application requirements.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application issues to maintain optimal performance.
- Document application designs and configurations to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance when needed.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Unix Shell Scripting.
- Experience in writing efficient and maintainable shell scripts to automate tasks and processes.
- Familiarity with debugging and troubleshooting shell scripts in various Unix/Linux environments.
- Understanding of file system operations, process management, and system commands within Unix.
- Ability to integrate shell scripts with other software components and tools to streamline workflows.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Unix Shell Scripting.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
