About the team:
The Adaptive Planning Analyst/Architect is part of the People Systems Team and will assist the Strategic Workforce Planning function within the Workforce Transformation organization of the People Office. This role works directly with other members of the People Systems team as well as workforce planning practitioners and thought leaders who intend to maximize the newly implemented Adaptive Planning solution at FIS. This role will support the team in developing, monitoring, adjusting, and executing on workforce plans that connect talent needs to business outcomes.

What you will be doing:

  • Guide business leaders, finance partners, and HRBPs in developing and executing on operational and strategic workforce plans using a consistent methodology, approach, processes, and tools.
  • Develop and maintain workforce plans based on data-driven workforce supply and demand models, optimized gap-closing actions, and key success measures.
  • Partner with the Workforce Analytics team to leverage best-in-class people analytics in workforce planning models.
  • Participate in projects that support the long-term vision and roadmap for the broader Workforce Planning team and Workforce Transformation organization. Supporting the Adaptive functions such as user access sync and support, logging / working issues with Workday support, integrating the Adaptive Platform with other sources (Workday), EIB loading, Versioning, supporting and troubleshooting current ongoing integration, maintenance, Workday custom reporting building / maintenance, sheet maintenance and performance tuning, etc.

What will need:

  • 2+ years of functional/technical experience with Adaptive Planning
  • Involvement with leading Adaptive Planning deployments (full lifecycle implementation)
  • Experience in writing complex formulas in Adaptive Planning
  • Adaptive Reporting experience (Dashboards, Matrix Reports, Office Connect)
  • Current or previous Adaptive Planning Certification (Planning First or Platform)
  • A passion for guiding, advising, and delighting clients
  • A keen interest in the Planning and the HR space
  • Experience mentoring, developing other Adaptive users and administrators
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Curiosity, flexibility, tenacity, team player
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.


Added bonus if you have:

  • Experience in different workforce planning methodologies (SWFP, Bottoms-Up Analysis, Capacity Planning)
  • Adaptive Planning integrations experience
  • SQL experience
  • Workday Reporting Experience
  • Workday EIB loading experience
