Sr. Business Analyst

The Sr. Business Analyst will be instrumental in determining global operating strategies for the business unit. This role will create and implement tools, processes, and working practices to enhance staff effectiveness and efficiency, enabling the delivery of best-in-class service across our global operations.

About the Role

In this opportunity as Sr. Business Analyst, you will:

• Contribute to defining and continuously improving the Global Template of the business group, supporting its implementation and adherence in each region.

• Drive consistency of the Global template and participate in negotiations for agreed variances via global Process forums.

• Assist in managing the definition, approval, prioritization, and resource allocation for projects aligned with strategy, mission, and targeted improvements.

• Support the achievement of regional operating efficiencies through data-driven analysis and recommendations.

• Own and manage a portfolio of small to large systems and process improvement projects through their entire lifecycle, from initiation to handover.

• Collaborate with process teams to develop comprehensive training and communication materials for successful project deployment.

• Work closely with global teams to ensure alignment between Global Templates and product-specific processes.

• Partner with Service Delivery owners to ensure processes support key measurement criteria.

• Contribute to defining and supporting optimal interactions with other support groups such as Customer Support and PSG.

• Conduct impact analysis of corporate projects and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.

• Effectively communicate planned initiatives, implications, and responsibilities to global/regional business units and representatives of other functions.

About You

You're a fit for the role of Sr. Business Analyst if your background includes:

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in a global business environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proven experience in process modeling, analysis, and design techniques.

• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.

• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

• Strong understanding of business operations and cross-functional collaboration.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.

• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.

• Experience in creating detailed reports and giving presentations to diverse audiences.

• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements.

• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. Eligible office location(s) for this role include one or more of the following: Eagan, MN; Ann Arbor, MI; Richmond, VA; Rochester, NY. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $97,100 - $180,300. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
