Cash Accountant - Credit & Collection NA team - Panama

As a Cash Accountant you will support with unapplied cash reconciliations, refunds, detailed analysis of open debits origin and general ledger reconciliation activities for the North America market

 

Your role:

• Daily reconciliation of the prepayment cash general ledger with large transaction volume and Accounts Receivable customer accounts.

• Analyze open debits from incoming payments and internal entries, providing clear explanations to stakeholders and customers. This is key to resolving non-invoice deductions, ensuring accurate account balances, preventing misapplication of funds, and supporting timely collections.

• Proactively manage complex customer situations, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies and maintaining customer satisfaction.

• Coordinating with financial business partners, collections, cash applications and Record to Report

• Development opportunities within Accounts Receivable/Credit & Collections process improvement by identifying root cause problems, processes gaps, and provide continuous improvements solutions.

 

You're the right fit if: 

• High School Diploma, Vocational Education/Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analysis or equivalent.

• You have 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections or equivalent with Vocational Education OR no prior experience with Bachelor's Degree.

• You are knowledgeable in SAP, Excel (Pivot Tables, Data visualization and manipulation,)

• You posses conversational level of English.

• You are a highly responsible, customer service-oriented individual who excels in teamwork, demonstrates strong interpersonal relationships, exhibits initiative, and is a fast learner.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This role is an office role.
