The Role

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Director to lead our implementation engineering team. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless integration of our solutions with client environments. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire technical implementation lifecycle, from initial planning to post-implementation support.

In this role you will:

  • Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing team of implementation engineers.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for integrating our solutions with clients, streamlining processes, and ensuring high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with product engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and functionalities with customer’s IT systems.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth implementations, resolve issues promptly, and exceed customer expectations.
  • Manage engineering resources assigned to complex implementation projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet deadlines, stay within budget, and deliver exceptional results.
  • Continuously drive scalability into integration tools, processes and engineering practices in order to reduce implementation timelines, customer friction points and maintenance costs.  

About You

  • 10+ years of experience in software implementation and engineering on a client facing team.
  • 5+ years of total experience in a leadership role, managing engineering teams. An ideal candidate will have had 2+ years of experience managing managers (teams of 20+).
  • Strong technical expertise in ETL, data warehousing, test frameworks. Python experience is a bonus.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery and customer satisfaction, including technical change management.
  • Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management experience to navigate trade-off discussions and negotiate priorities.
  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.

Compensation Range and Benefits

  • Salary/Hourly Rate Range*: $255,000 - $300,000
  • This role is equity eligible
