We are seeking an experienced PlantPAx Ignition Engineer to design, program, test, and support industrial control systems in regulated environments. This role requires strong hands-on expertise with Rockwell Automation platforms, Ignition SCADA, and networked control systems, with a working understanding of biopharmaceutical, GMP, and building management systems.

You will:  

• Independently program and configure Allen-Bradley CompactLogix and ControlLogix PLCs, including related I/O systems
• Develop, configure, and maintain Rockwell PlantPAx 4.x and 5.x control modules and equipment modules
• Independently program Ignition 8.x, including:
• Alarming
• Reporting
• Historian modules
• Design, develop, and test Ignition Perspective HMI graphics
• Develop and execute test forms, including FAT/SAT and commissioning documentation
• Integrate vendor-provided equipment and devices using:
• Ethernet/IP
• BACnet IP
• Modbus TCP/IP
• Support and apply control system network topology best practices
• Interface with process, facilities, and validation teams to support compliant system delivery

You have: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on industrial automation or controls engineering experience
• Strong understanding of biopharmaceutical manufacturing and GMP processes
• Experience working independently in automation system design and implementation
• Familiarity with regulated environments and documentation-driven projects
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
• A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork.
