About the Role : As a Foundational Engineer your role is to develop and maintain our CI/CD environment to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.

Your Team

The position reports to the Manager of Build and Integration Domain​. As a single contributor, you are well connected to all our software integrators working on our projects.

What You Will Do

• Perform day-to-day software integration activities, ensuring compatibility and functionality across different systems.
• Develop and maintain our CI/CD environment to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
• Setup/configure build pipelines for Unit Testing, Delta Static Code Analysis (DSCA), FOSS and Integration Testing using Python scripting.
• Update/modify scripts to improve the CI/CD development workflow according to project needs.
• Utilize version control systems, including Git and Gerrit, for code management and collaboration.
• Execute software integration activities compliance with Automotive SPICE requirements.

What You Need to be successful

• Open to learning and improving your technical skills.
• Basic knowledge and technical understanding of continuous build systems, version control systems, and configuration management.
• Good communication and facilitation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent related field.

What is Nice to Have

• M.Eng. and/or MBA
• Software development experience
• Software Integration experience
• Internship experience in the automotive industry or a similar field.

What Makes You Eligible

• Good knowledge of Continuous Build (Jenkins) and Version Control Systems (git).
• Basic knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Linux scripting).
• Basic knowledge of Yocto and/or Docker and/or Kubernetes.
