Job Description:

Accountabilities
 

  • Identify contract requirements in terms of equipment and cableways installation design and monitor their compliance within the assigned Project.
  • Coordinate and verify the installation design of the main railway systems technologies (Signalling, Power Supply and Traction Power, Telecommunications, Automatic Fare Collection, Security/Surveillance, Public Address, etc.).
  • Prepare and Generate the Combined Service Drawings (CSD) and Structural Electrical Mechanical Drawings (SEM) for the Core Electrical & Mechanical (E&M) Systems including Track Works of a Railway or Metro Rapid Transit System by interfacing with all the systems of the including civil, architectural, utilities, rolling stock, track works, and Core E&M
  • Support Construction activities by mitigating and assessing any upcoming deviation.
  • Prepare As-built drawings.
  • Prepare, attend or chair clash detection resolution meetings.
  • Reply work related formal letters, e-mails, or request of information.
  • Visit construction sites, prepare related reports, and solve for clash by using CSD & SEM.
  • Exchange work related information by requested time.
  • Report work status and issues to Project Office and Company.
  • Record and compile work related letters, meeting minutes, document and issues.

Essential Requirements

  • Proficient skills in the use of AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of Railway or Metro Rapid Transit System
  • Good Communication and Meeting Skill
  • Good Technical Coordination and Management Skills
  • Good Ability on Writing Technical Documents and Reports.

Desirable 

  • Knowledge of Core E&M Installation Works on Wayside, Depot and Equipment Rooms
  • Knowledge of Cable Routings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • 5 years’ Experience in installation design
  • Fluent English language written and spoken
