We are looking for a Demand Planner to join our team and help us optimize the delivery of chemicals to our offshore business in Latin America. You will be located in Rio de Janeiro, RJ - Brazil and will lead and own the demand planning process driving the interaction among Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain. As the owner of the demand planning process, this role is accountable for the effectiveness and efficiency of this process measured by forecast accuracy and bias.

What You Will Do
The Demand Planner will be responsible for developing 18 to 24-month sales volume forecasts using statistical modeling supported by sales and marketing assumptions which includes market intelligence, customer insights, new product introductions, swaps, and discontinuations. This role will also lead Root Cause Analysis causing forecast errors and highlights key drivers and improvement opportunities. The role is focused on our offshore business.
This role will be responsible for organizing and facilitating demand alignment meetings among cross-functional team members to understand and take into account assumptions that create consensus demand plan without losing line of sight to the unconstrained demand forecast.
On a day-to-day basis, this role will maintain forecasts at Demand Forecast Unit (DFU) level within Blue Yonder, validate historical data and manage data outlier, and correct errors of the tail DFUs to ensure accuracy of the forecasting model. This role will support data analysis and report requirements of the team in the light of highlighting data integrity improvement opportunities. The role will collaborate closely with the Regional Demand Planners in acquiring commercial insights and translating it to volumetric forecast increase and decrease into Blue Yonder Demand Workbench in developing a Consensus Demand Forecast.
