Strategy & Finance (S&F) Financial Management Chapter
The teams across the S&F Financial Management Chapter provide a wide range of financial management services that guide and empower our business. We have several key relationships supporting Telstra business operations to corporate leadership, our customers, our people and shareholders.
In Strategy & Finance, we operate in an agile environment so that we can better prioritise our work, flow the right resources to that work, develop our people and ultimately support our business stakeholders to deliver better outcomes for our customers and our shareholders. This role sits within our Financial Management Chapter Area, a ~400 strong global team of financial professionals who provide business partnering and FP&A services to missions across the organisation.
The Mission – International Consolidation
This mission is responsible for total Telstra International's financial consolidation (including Digicel Pacific) and its management reporting, Australia-domiciled International entities financial control (including post legal restructure operations such as billing, invoicing), funding mechanism between international head entity and its affiliates (Australia-domiciled), IFRS 15/16 audit compliance, international costbook management and International Financial system (Sapphire) management.

As a Senior Finance Partner – International Consolidation, you play a pivotal role in the development of operating plans that support strategic goals. Your strong technical understanding and deep knowledge of financial strategies and objectives is what makes you outstanding in your role. You deliver remarkable financial and commercial analysis that has a strong, positive impact on Telstra’s key activities and initiatives.
'Important note: the role will be based in our office in Makati City, Metro Manila and will be in a HYBRID working environment.

What You’ll Do
This is how you'll bring the purpose of your role to life:
Support strategic financial planning across TI, including Digicel Pacific consolidation and monthly financial analysis & reporting
Manage and consolidate monthly business performance update reporting
Support intercompany transactions inter/intra TI
Ensure IFRS 15/16 audit compliance and reporting accuracy
Assist international costbook development and maintainance
Collaborate with stakeholders to drive value and performance
Provide data-driven recommendations to resolve complex financial issues
Ad Hoc tasks from various initiatives or projects
About You
To be successful in the role, you should have:
CPA, CMA, or CA fully qualified
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Accounting or related course
Expertise in SAP
Extensive experience in Finance Management (i.e., forecasting, analysis, reporting, and variance)
Experience in management accounting: to support business partnership, technical accounting, and accounting compliance
Strong stakeholder management, proactive and curious, organised, keen eye for detail, continuous improvement mindset, proven ability to curate the story behind the numbers, systematic and process orientated
Advanced Excel knowledge and skilled in PowerPoint
Initiative: A proactive mindset to address issues related to operational performance and financial trajectory.
Autonomy and Collaboration: the ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team.
Analytical Skills: Proficiency in financial modelling and data-backed decision-making.
Stakeholder management and presentation skills
Passion for numbers and improving financial performance
Highly desirable qualification(s)
Alteryx and/or Think-Cell knowledge
Big 4 experience
IFRS15/16 knowledge
