The Office of Student Care and Support in the Division of Student Affairs supports students’ holistic development by providing education and personal interventions, educating about personal advocacy and assisting with advocacy when appropriate, and coordinating resources and services for undergraduate and graduate students experiencing challenges. These challenges may include students who have chronic health issues, academic difficulties, mental health concerns, behavioral problems including substance abuse, or other issues that have or may have an impact on their college experience and success. The Assistant Director reports to the Director of Student Care and Support. They work closely with the Director to provide this support and coordinate care for students who are referred to Student Care and Support. Referrals are generated by faculty and staff at the College, classmates, parents, self-referrals, or other concerned parties. The Assistant Director will serve as a primary point of contact for students of concern.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
