Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will design, implement, and maintain databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise, all while collaborating with team members to enhance database functionality and security. Roles & Responsibilities: - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Perform database administration, monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning - Ensure availability, reliability, and security of mission-critical databases - Implement and support Data Guard and RAC in production environments - Plan and execute backup strategies, disaster recovery drills, and patch cycles - Collaborate with Application, Infrastructure, and Security teams for incident handling and change execution - Participate in 24×7 on-call rotational support Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA). - Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database Administration (12c & 19c) - Expertise in Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) - Proficient in Oracle Data Guard configuration, monitoring, and failover operations - Strong experience in Backup & Recovery (RMAN) - SQL & PL/SQL proficiency for performance tuning and troubleshooting - Experience with database patching, upgrades, cloning, and migrations - Solid understanding of Linux-based environments - Experience with OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager) - Good to have knowledge of Cloud-based Oracle environments (OCI/Azure/AWS) - Good to have exposure to Oracle Exadata /ExaCC Administration - Knowledge of security protocols and compliance standards related to database management. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA). - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
