Primary Function:

Responsible for executing product testing procedures to validate performance, quality, and compliance with established standards. The role involves setting up and operating test equipment, accurately recording and analyzing results, and identifying defects or deviations.

Educational Background:

Graduate of Electronics Technology, Mechanical Technology, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or a related vocational course.

Experience:

Fresh graduate or must have at least 2-years of work experience in an electronics or semiconductor industry.

Knowledge, skill and abilities

  • Collect, record, and report process data (yields, defects, downtime) to engineering and supervisory teams.

  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assist with process improvements or experiments as directed by engineers.

  • Identify, isolate, and escalate recurring issues or equipment malfunctions for further action.

  • Support implementation of corrective actions and document any changes or deviations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Identify, isolate, and escalate recurring equipment or process issues to engineering or maintenance teams for resolution.

  • Support root cause investigation for process-related defects, test failures, or yield drops.

  • Support implementation of process improvements, experiments, or engineering change requests as assigned.

  • Monitor Final Test processes and parameters to ensure stable, consistent production output.

  • Perform routine process checks and in-line inspections to detect variations or potential issues.

  • Troubleshoot and correct minor process deviations, escalating persistent problems to engineering as needed.

  • Collect and record process data (yields, cycle time, failure rates) for trend analysis.

  • Implement and document process adjustments or corrective actions under engineering guidance.

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, experiments, and validation runs within Final Test.

  • Follow all safety, quality, and cleanroom protocols; maintain a safe and organized work environment.

  • Communicate clearly with supervisors, engineers, and other teams regarding equipment status, process concerns, and production priorities.
