The Channel Services team is at the forefront of translating HP’s global strategy into a practical and effective plan through our extensive channel partner ecosystem. Working closely with business units and regional markets, this role will focus on integrating HP’s offerings into one powerful, unified message. By aligning our Services and Solutions portfolio with various partner profiles, we aim to build tailored programs that scale and accelerate digital transformation. This is a strategic role that shapes HP’s channel services landscape, defining the roles of HP and our partners to enable impactful growth.
The Director, Channel Services Development will be responsible for a team of subject matter experts across our current offerings and developing offerings, reporting into our Vice President, Global Channel Services.
Responsibilities
Strategic Narrative & Value Proposition Development
Craft and communicate a cohesive story that encapsulates HP’s Print managed services and solutions, building a powerful value proposition that speaks to the unique needs of our print customers.
Integrate various offerings into a unified message that resonates across customer segments and partner channels, ensuring clarity and alignment with HP’s global brand vision.
Leadership in Sales Operations & Partner Strategy
Provide high-level guidance to senior individual contributors and managers, addressing complex challenges to align the sales operations strategy with HP’s overall objectives.
Collaborate with leadership to set policies and goals that align sales operations with HP’s overarching strategy.
Operational Efficiency & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Resolve conflicting priorities within sales operations, offering actionable solutions that optimize resource allocation and enhance operational efficiency.
Partner with internal and external teams to create and deliver innovative solutions, ensuring a seamless customer experience across HP’s channel services.
Change Management & Scaling Initiatives
Lead change initiatives, implementing transitions within sales operations to support organizational growth and operational transformation.
Allocate resources strategically to meet financial and growth objectives, supporting the scalability of HP’s service offerings.
Talent Development & Succession Planning
Foster team readiness by supporting career growth, succession planning, and the provision of necessary tools and resources to drive success.
Oversee talent management within the department, ensuring the team is prepared to adapt to evolving business needs.
Industry Insights & Compliance
Stay ahead of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive shifts, adjusting strategies to maintain compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Accounting, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 12+ years of job-related and/or management experience, preferably in sales, sales support, people management, sales process improvement, or a related field.

The base compensation range for this role is $158,000 to $253,000 annually. There are additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
