The Role: Procurement Analytics and Reporting Analyst (US Hours)

The Impact: The Procurement Analytics Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to the procurement function. This role involves creating reports, dashboards, and providing actionable insights to enhance decision-making within the procurement department. The Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, cost savings, and compliance in procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection: Gather procurement-related data from various sources, including ERP systems, supplier databases, and other relevant platforms.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze procurement data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Use statistical techniques and data visualization tools to present findings effectively.
  • Reporting and Dashboards: Develop and maintain procurement reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as spend analysis, supplier performance, and procurement cycle times. Support delivery of key reports to procurement and business stakeholders including providing Division specific reporting to stakeholders in S&P business units as required.
  • Forecasting: Utilize historical data and market trends to create procurement forecasts, helping the organization make informed decisions about inventory levels, supplier selection, and budget allocation.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure procurement activities align with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Report on compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Cost Optimization: Collaborate with procurement teams to identify cost-saving opportunities, negotiate supplier contracts, and track cost reduction initiatives.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the procurement function and work with stakeholders to implement changes.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Sourcing, Contracting, Risk and other departments to align procurement strategies with overall business goals.
  • Communication: Present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations.

Qualifications:

  • Must be fluent English language speaker. Superior oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrable experience in building strategic partnerships both internally and externally with key stakeholders and vendors with deep knowledge of vendors and trends to inform category planning
  • Must have experiencing using e-Sourcing tools (e.g. Ariba, Scout, Coupa, Ivalua etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or a related field a plus
  • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably within a procurement or supply chain context.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Celonis, Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI) and advanced data analytics tools (e.g., Python, R) is a strong advantage.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes, supplier management, and sourcing strategies.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Flexible in work schedule.
  • Amenable to work in the Office (3x a week)
