We are looking for a Medical Affairs Manager Immunology for our offices in Czech Republic:

Medical Affairs Manager is responsible for development and execution of brand medical strategy for both current and pipeline products and indications. The purpose of this role is to increase understanding and added value of Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (J&J IM) Immunology portfolio, prepare medical pre-launch and launch activities fully in line with EMEA/CEB medical strategy through value story discussion, proactive cross-functional internal cooperation and high level of engagement with external customers. An important part of the role is to provide internal and external scientific support, train internal staff to ensure highest standards of brand/therapy expertise in customer facing teams. Demonstrates transparent and constructive conversations to support the creation of trustworthy and collaborative working environment internally and externally, to show behavior that helps to strengthen J&J position as a company with high reputation and credibility. Develop and execute tailored Medical Education based on customers’ needs. He/she shares medical insights on regular basis within CVT/CEB HUB to help optimize brand/Therapy strategy, decision making on current and future license indications. Drive RWE studies to get the outcomes of our innovative treatment in daily clinical practice. He/she builds and maintains trustworthy partnerships with customers, meets them on regular basis, organizes national and local medical education events, advisory boards.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Medical Education plan (stand alone, symposia, Advisory Boards) based on Medical strategy
  • Building strategic external partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Ensure Close cross-functional cooperation (CVT/CEB HUB)
  • Gather Medical/experts´ insights and share them cross-functionally

  • Provide scientific support to internal and external customers in response to clinical interest
  • Support the sharing of knowledge to internal stakeholders e.g. through provision of trainings to help to ensure highest standards of brand/therapy expertise in customer facing teams.
  • Meet with customers on a regular basis through F2F visits, educational meetings, conferences etc.,
  • Analyze and understand competitive landscape
  • Manage and maintain trustworthy partnership with Key Opinion Leaders
  • Act as J&J IM speaker externally in a case of need
  • Engage in constant dialogue to create value for patients, customers and J&J IM
  • Proactively support the Market Access department (HEMAR) to ensure our products are presented in an appropriate way
  • Drive RWE studies to get the outcomes of our innovative treatment in daily clinical practice
  • Proactively cooperate with GCO (Global Clinical Operations)

Requirements (knowledge, education, skills):

Educational Background and Pharmaceutical Industry expertise/experience:

  • Medical Doctor, Pharmaceutical or Nature Science university degree
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical Industry at Medical Affairs Manager position ≥ 3 years
  • Medical Affairs experience in the Immunology area would be an advantage and is preferred
