Course: Advanced Principles of Sports Performance

This course expands the principles and techniques of strength training including sport- and activity-specific program design and implementation. Knowledge gained in this course will contribute to student preparation for professional certification in the field. 

What You Will Do:

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

Qualifications:

• Preferred: Doctorate or Master’s in any Health or Exercise Science-related discipline, AND holding NSCA CSCS certification.
• Minimum: Master’s in any field with 18 graduate credit hours in Health or Exercise Science, AND holding NSCA CSCS certification.
