Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will apply security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. You will provide services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in Palo Alto Networks Firewalls to ensure the security of the organization's systems and data. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and respond to security incidents. Additionally, you will stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies to proactively address potential threats. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Ensure the security of enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. - Design and implement security measures to protect against cyber threats. - Identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks. - Respond to security incidents and conduct investigations. - Stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are met. - Conduct security assessments and audits. - Develop and implement security policies and procedures. - Provide training and awareness programs on security best practices. - Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts. - Participate in incident response and recovery activities. - Conduct security risk assessments and develop mitigation plans. - Perform security testing and vulnerability assessments. - Maintain documentation of security processes and procedures. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Palo Alto Networks Firewalls. - Experience with network security technologies and protocols. - Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices. - Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST). - Experience with security incident response and management. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with other firewall technologies (e.g., Cisco ASA, Check Point). - Familiarity with cloud security concepts and technologies. - Experience with security assessment tools and techniques. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Palo Alto Networks Firewalls. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
