Summary:
As a Senior Developer, you will utilize your expertise in application technology to maintain and enhance features of the IBM Sterling Commerce platform. Your daily tasks will include solving complex distributed challenges, implementing new features and capabilities for the Order Management System (OMS), optimizing performance, and addressing client issues. You will also design solutions for intricate business problems and mentor junior Software Developers/Engineers.In this role, you will focus on identifying and resolving technical issues, ensuring high coding standards across the team, and contributing to application enhancements and bug fixes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Implement OMS solutions and support all project phases, including analysis, development, testing, and production.
-Share your knowledge and experience with junior colleagues, helping them develop leadership skills and identify the best solutions for clients.
-Participate in the implementation of OMS solutions through all project phases, including analysis, development, testing, and production deployment.
-Collaborate with team members, such as team leaders, technical architects, functional specialists, UX/UI experts, and other developers, to successfully complete project activities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
-4+ years of project experience with at least one leading Order Management System solution (preferably IBM Sterling Commerce, but Fluent Commerce, Manhattan, or Salesforce OMS experience is also acceptable).
-2+ years of experience in development/implementation of IBM Sterling OMS solutions.
-Good command in OMS modules like Order Orchestration, Supply Collaboration, Distributed Order management, Payment Integration, Inventory Management and Reverse logistics.
-Backend development skills, including:
-Familiarity with design patterns (e.g., MVC) and event-driven architecture.
-Experience with object-oriented programming languages, primarily Java or similar.
-Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
-Programming experience, ideally in Java and JavaScript, with ReactJS as a plus.
Additional Information:
- Experience in backend integration projects within eCommerce and retail ecosystems.
-Knowledge of microservices and container orchestration.
-Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, and technologies including REST, GraphQL, JSON, CSS, and JavaScript.
