Position Summary

As a Distinguished Software Engineer in Retail Supply Chain & Logistics Technology, you'll join us on our Supply Chain Modernization journey designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining Warehouse Management software solutions to optimize warehouse operations and improve overall efficiency. 

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovative solutions that support our business objectives and technological advancements.  To be successful, you should have extensive experience in warehouse management technology, with detailed knowledge of Manhattan Associates Warehouse Management software, and a strong understanding of warehouse operations, labor management, supply chain and logistics. You should also have excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills, and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Deep expertise of configurations, implementations, troubleshooting and support and other Manhattan solutions such as Yard Management, Slotting Optimization and SCI Reporting
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of the WMS software.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into clear and actionable recommendations.
  • Engage at both a strategic and tactical level with business and technical stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to warehouse management systems.
  • Be the leader in making informed technical decisions quickly and take ownership of applications at scale


Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Manhattan Associates WMS software with deep experience in application configuration consisting of runtime properties, feature toggles, localization resource bundles and other application metadata.
  • 15+ years of experience in warehouse operations and logistics including receiving, put away, replenishment, labor management and picking.
  • 2+ years of hands on experience with Manhattan ProActive, ability to create and modify extensions to personalize features or functions with Manhattan Active solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in other related systems including Labor Management Systems (LMS), Yard Management Systems (YMS) and Warehouse Controls /Execution Systems (WCS/WES) with Manhattan Active to integrate with sorters, conveyors.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, project management skills, and be able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Project Management experience, PMP or Lean Six Sigma preferred


Education

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$175,100.00 - $334,800.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
