WHO WE NEED:

We are looking for a motivated, energetic campus recruiting coordinator to join our amazingly successful veterinary and nursing early career recruiting team. You will work closely with our DVM and Nursing campus recruiters to provide key logistical support for our campus recruiting programs. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to attend and assist with campus recruiting events, including campus presentations, career fairs, networking events and our DVM campus ambassador orientation program.  If you’re interested in learning the veterinary campus space and are passionate about connecting with students, then this is the job for you! 

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:

Administrative Support: 

  • Review DVM externship and Vet Nurse Student Campus Ambassador applications, send offer letters, surveys and process legal agreements 
  • Manage student email inbox, ensuring timely responses and efficient communication with students
  • Keep LMS course content up to date 
  • Maintain current career opportunity postings on campus-specific online career boards
  • Complete other duties as assigned to support the Veterinary Nursing and DVM Campus Outreach programs 

Event Coordination: 

  • Manage communications with DVM Campus Ambassadors and recruiters to assist with on-campus event preparation
  • Help coordinate events, including creating detailed itineraries, to ensure the smooth execution of campus events 
  • Serve as the point person for managing expenses and credit card transactions related to campus activities and accurately reporting on those expenses. 
  • Assist with the management of candidate shadow shifts by coordinating all travel & logistics with the candidate and hospital teams

Data/Lead Management: 

  • Track and report on DVM ambassador activities (using our technology system) in alignment with recruitment goals.
  • Work closely with Veterinary Nursing Operations and Talent Managers to maintain and audit vet nurse extern hiring data
  • Compile and maintain Vet Nurse Campus Partner and Vet Nurse Student Campus Ambassador databases, coordinate training, process payments and send swag
  • Manage and upload data to candidate tracking systems, maintaining data accuracy and consistency. 

Requirements:

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality.
  • Basic experience or familiarity with Google Drive applications, Monday, Gem, Canvas, DocuSign, and Handshake is a plus
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • A proactive attitude, with a passion for learning more about campus recruiting and the veterinary industry.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a service-oriented environment and supporting the next generation of veterinary professionals.
  • A love for animals and a genuine interest in the veterinary field.
  • Willingness to be on-site at our headquarters in White Plains, NY at least 3 days per week.
