Summary: As a SAP Platform experts, you will serve as an integral member of the SAP Platform Ranger Squad team, with responsibilities that include conducting technology and platform assessments, providing informed recommendations, and driving improvements in the architecture, design, and deployment of large-scale SAP applications, infrastructure, data, integrations, and related systems. The role places a strong emphasis on automation, performance optimization, and operational excellence. You will be expected to innovate and scale SAP solutions and applications, ensuring their seamless integration and high availability across the enterprise. Additionally, as a platform ranger, you should demonstrate proficiency with the latest technologies and tools, such as generative AI, and actively disseminate this expertise throughout all SAP solutions. We are looking for a DevOps for SAP Lead with proven skills in designing technical solutions for DevOps enablement for SAP Projects. Ideal candidate should be able to assess, design and engineer DevOps solutions in SAP environment. Candidate must have deep skills in tools, integration, and technology patterns in multiple areas like Application Life Cycle Management, Service Management and production operations, Continuous Integration and delivery, Deployments, Automation Testing, Monitoring and Infrastructure with SAP experience. Key Responsibilities • Design, build and implement technical DevOps solutions to simple and medium complexity SAP projects. • Assess and identify technical gaps in the maturity of clients’ DevOps tools landscape and CI/CD implementations. • Build DevOps technology blueprints for applications built on multiple technologies. • Design Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines for complex technology landscape including databases, middle-tier technologies and front-end applications. • Design and build DevOps technical solutions for cloud-native, cloud-enabled and on-prem infrastructure with microservices, SOA or traditional application patterns. • Engage client technology architects in discussion on SAP DevOps solutions and build consensus. • Support Sales, Marketing teams in communicating complex DevOps designs, tools and architectures. • Provide thought leadership in the areas of DevOps tools, automation and latest trends Technical Skills: Experience: 10+ years of experience • Considerable experience in building and managing CI/CD workflows and complex system integrations for SAP Applications. • Knowledge of delivery methodologies and frameworks like Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, SAFe • Experience in DevOps estimations, assessments and solutioning is desired. • Experience in writing automation using Shell, Perl, Python, PowerShell, Ruby, R language etc. or with a strong software development experience. • Experienced in multiple opensource and enterprise DevOps tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git, GitHub, Gitlab, Maven, Nexus, Docker, SonarQube, Ansible, Kubernetes, Grafana, Terraform, Monitoring tools like ELK, Nagios, JIRA, ServiceNow, Remedy etc. • Strong understanding & knowledge of SAP ECC, S/4, SAP Tech Arch and BTP. Professional Skill: • Good understanding of different application architectures like traditional, SOA, Microservices • Experience in security architecture for infrastructure, application and data layers would be a plus. • Strong architectural background in Public/Private/Hybrid. • Experience in SAP backend OData developments, ABAP on HANA, UI5 Fiori Developments, SAP BTP etc. • Certifications/Patents in New Gen technologies. Additional Information: • SAP Certified Development Associate • SAP Certified Professional Completed minimum of 15 years of full-time education with Bachelor’s or Master’s (B.E./B.Tech/BCA/MCA) in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics & Communication from a recognized institution.
