Job Description:
Purpose of the Position
The purpose of this position is to support the development of engaging, clear, and effective training materials. This role will collaborate closely with subject matter experts, trainers, and leadership to translate complex information into easy-to-understand content tailored for various audiences. Additionally, this role will need to apply instructional design principles and technical writing best practices to enhance the learning experience.
Education and Experience Preferences
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Technical Writing, Communications, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience designing instructional materials or writing technical documentation.
- Proficiency with instructional authoring tools and LMS platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Experience with adult learning principles and accessibility best practices is a plus.
- Experience creating training for call centers, operations, or technical audiences.
- Familiarity with SCORM and digital learning trends.
- Graphic design or video editing capabilities a bonus.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and revise training materials including manuals, job aids, eLearning modules, instructor-led content, FAQs, and onboarding resources.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify learning gaps and recommend instructional strategies.
- Translate technical and operational processes into clear, concise documentation.
- Collaborate with SMEs and cross-functional teams to gather input and verify content accuracy.
- Apply instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to guide content creation.
- Ensure consistency in tone, formatting, and structure across training materials.
- Utilize authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe, Canva) and document editors (e.g., Microsoft Office) to produce high-quality outputs.
- Organize and maintain a central repository for training materials and version control.
- Participate in user testing and feedback collection to refine materials.

Accountability/Measurement
- Training Effectiveness: correlations between all training initiatives and corporate performance.
- Measurement: Knowledge check results, training class retention, and improvement (growth) of personnel, employee engagement, and new hire productivity.
- Managing: performing the duties and responsibilities required of this position.
- Measurement: quarterly annual performance assessment involving the attainment of mutually agreed upon goals along with adequate performance in key areas associated with the position, as well as employee satisfaction survey results.
- Effectiveness: quality of training presentations.
- Measurement: Employee evaluations, feedback, and revenue results
- Cooperation: Build strong, trusting relationships with SMEs.
