Position Summary...

What you'll do...

We are seeking a Senior Director, Merchandising Operations to join our team! This leadership role is critical in directing inventory plans for complex strategic business units, driving third-party supplier relationships, developing and prioritizing key business strategies, guiding strategic direction on corporate initiatives, and developing and implementing strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled workforce.

What You'll Do...

  • Direct Inventory Plans for complex strategic business units, review annual, monthly, weekly, and daily projections against actual results, monitor category markdown budget.

  • Drive Third-Party Supplier Relationships, develop relationships and interface with vendor leadership personnel, review and analyze contract negotiations and contract management.

  • Develop and Prioritize Key Business Strategies, manage cross-functional initiatives that impact store and corporate processes, develop merchandising programs and initiatives, customer and company communications, and associate training content.

  • Guide Strategic Direction on Corporate Initiatives, build and maintain relationships with senior leadership, conduct a cost-benefit analysis to evaluate potential strategies, prioritize corporate goals and objectives.

  • Develop and Implement Strategies to Attract and Maintain a Highly Skilled Workforce, diagnose capability gaps, recruit, select, and develop talent, support mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning.

You'll Make an Impact By...

  • Reviewing and approving markdown proposals, develop prioritized markdown recommendations for senior management when markdowns exceed budget, align category inventory and turn plans.

  • Ensuring that budgets and financial commitments are met, ensure that operational expenses are properly managed.

  • Making recommendations for system support developments, recommend merchandise priorities for store operations, translate merchandise strategies for assigned departments into executable programs for store operations.

  • Gaining alignment from cross-functional business areas on business processes, drive accountability for implementing corporate initiatives and achieving division goals within cross-functional areas.

  • Promoting a customer environment, demonstrate adaptability and sponsor continuous learning, leverage the capabilities of new and existing talent.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
