Who You Are:

As a Senior Project Manager at TCGplayer, you will partner with our management leaders to organize, coordinate, and track progress on projects spanning 6 engineering teams and collaborating with other interdependent teams as we take our platform into the next phase of TCGplayer’s growth. 

What you will accomplish:

  • Coordinate with engineering managers to create detailed project plans that outline specific tasks, timelines, milestones, and resources required to achieve project goals.
  • Prepare comprehensive project reports and presentations that provide insights into project status, risks, and outcomes.
  • Create RAID logs to identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and quality.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and upper management. Regularly update stakeholders on project progress and potential issues.
  • Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met.
  • Continuously evaluate project management processes and make recommendations for improvements.
  • This is a hands-on role; you will be responsible for creating many types of project artifacts and deliverables.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior role, managing large-scale and complex projects in an Agile software development company.
  • Proficient with Jira Software; especially Reporting and Advanced Roadmaps.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a strong attention to detail regarding deadlines and milestones.
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written), presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional certification such as PMP
  • Familiarity with other project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Monday).
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in team management.
