Job Summary

The Client Service Specialist is the first point of contact for clients needing assistance with their insurance and its services.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage client inquiries by phone, email, online, or in person

  • Builds a positive client relationship through collaboration and trust

  • Provides clients with their coverage features and guidance on procedures.

  • Processes claims and reimbursements on behalf of the client

  • Updates and maintains the client CSR database

  • Expedites service challenges to the appropriate manager/insurance contact

  • Schedules appointments for senior advisors and company partner

  • Interacts with Sales advisors to support their clients and business unit

  • Other tasks and projects assigned by CRM

Primary Skills & Requirements:

  • Adaptability and emotional intelligence

  • Microsoft office

  • Able to balance workload through multi-tasking, prioritizing

  • Organization

  • Attention to detail

  • Verbal and written communication skills

  • Web based research and CSR cloud-based system

  • Basic Math

  • Telephone etiquette

  • 1-5 years proven experience within a customer service environment

  • Receptionist with multi line telephone and/or call center background

  • Data entry

  • Some Medicare or Medical insurance knowledge helpful but not required

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
