Major Responsibilities
Strategic Assessments & Insights:
- Evaluate internal performance and external trends—including market, competition, regulations, and technology—to inform initiative prioritization and risk identification.
- Synthesize diverse data into clear recommendations for executive leadership, enabling informed decisions and strategic adjustments. Translate complex data and insights into compelling narratives that drive understanding, alignment, and action across leadership and stakeholder groups.
- Collaborate with finance to assess initiative ROI and integrate findings into annual budgeting.
- Develop new concepts and models aligned with project goals. Support execution and scaling of strategic initiatives. Report progress and outcomes to senior leadership, ensuring initiatives meet goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Maintain and evolve assessment frameworks, tools, and best practices to drive consistency and excellence.
Cross-Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other leaders within the Enterprise Consulting Group to ensure alignment and coordination of projects and initiatives.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing among team members, promoting cross-functional learning and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for synergy and efficiency across projects and workstreams.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of ECG’s strategic vision and objectives.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, operational leaders, and project sponsors.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their strategic priorities and align project objectives with organizational goals.
- Communicate project updates, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Proactively manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts to ensure project success.
Change Management:
- Create and execute change management plans to ensure successful adoption of solutions and redesigned work.
- Provide partnership and support to site leaders and staff during the implementation process.
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team responsible for strategic assessments and execution of key initiatives.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members, promoting their growth and success.
- Establish performance goals, conduct regular performance evaluations, and recognize and reward outstanding achievements
Minimum Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required.
Certification / Registration / License
Experience
- Typically requires 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry and at least 5 years in a leadership role within a large multi-state healthcare integrated delivery system.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Proven track record in strategic assessments, and execution of enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including trends, regulatory landscape, and challenges.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve organizational objectives.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex information, identify key insights, and translate them into actionable recommendations.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- This position requires travel, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions.
- Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
- Exposed to a normal office environment.
