The opportunity

As a Product Owner within HVDC Service for Station Layer Modernization, you take overall responsibility for the product’s development, delivery, and long‑term direction. You drive the modernization program for station layer systems globally and ensure that the solution can be delivered as a complete and competitive product package – from technology and documentation to quality, integration, and site activities.

You work cross‑functionally within the organization and become the hub that connects customer needs, technical possibilities, and business priorities. The role means that you own the requirements, roadmap, technical decisions, and quality management throughout the entire product lifecycle, while also monitoring costs, compliance, and long‑term competitiveness.

You prioritize and lead the product’s roadmap and ensure its alignment with the company’s product strategy in close collaboration with the global product organization, as well as the tender and project organizations.

You represent Station Layer Modernization in internal forums and customer dialogues, drive prioritization of development and improvement initiatives, and ensure that new and existing systems work together with established technology.

This is a strategic and operational key role where you both shape and drive the future Station Layer solution within HVDC Service.

How you´ll make an impact

  • The ability to make well‑founded decisions and create clarity, even when conditions are complex or changing.
  • Strong communication skills and experience collaborating cross‑functionally between development, delivery organizations, service, and market.
  • An analytical and solution‑oriented approach, with the ability to balance short‑term needs and long‑term strategic goals.

Your background

  • Experience with cybersecurity standards such as IEC 62443, NERC CIP, or similar.
  • Experience with modernization, upgrade projects, or lifecycle management of technical systems.
