Baker Hughes has a new opportunity for a Jakarta based Sales Advisor, within our Oilfield Services & Equipment (OFSE) product company to be based in Jakarta, Indonesia. This role reports into the APAC Regional Sales Director, depending on the market activity and business complexity.
This position is responsible for either originating sales or supporting sales for a specified account or set of accounts by building and maintaining customer relationships, identifying new opportunities to build the opportunity pipeline, promoting the value propositions of BKR to new and existing customers, and owning the development and execution of sales strategies for specific account(s) within the assigned product line (PL) and region, area, or country.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve regional or global subsea revenue targets.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across oil & gas, offshore wind, marine construction, and emerging subsea markets.
- Own the full sales lifecycle from opportunity identification through contract negotiation and award.
- Act as the primary commercial interface for key accounts and strategic customers.
- Build strong relationships with EPCs, operators, vessel owners, and OEM partners.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
- Work closely with engineering, project management, and operations teams to develop competitive technical-commercial proposals.
- Translate customer requirements into value-based solutions, including CAPEX and rental/service models.
- Lead bid strategy, pricing, risk evaluation, and contract terms in accordance with company guidelines.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging subsea technologies.
- Contribute to regional and global sales strategy, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Support product development and innovation by providing customer and market insights.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines, and CRM records.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance, ethics, and commercial approval processes.
- Provide regular reporting on sales performance, risks, and market outlook.
- Support the ITO-to-OTR process, to ensure other functional teams, such as Service Delivery and Supply Chain, have the information they need in order to plan and execute on upcoming jobs

Essential qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Sales role
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry
- Ability to travel 20-40% of the time
