Job Description

The Medline Campaign Creative team helps to enable sales growth, enhance customer relationships, and strengthen Medline’s reputation and equity within healthcare. We support our sales teams by providing compelling content across all channels.

You are a copywriting pro, someone who thrives on turning big ideas into concise, compelling content for integrated marketing campaigns, including websites, digital ads, emails, brochures, videos and more. You love writing about timely healthcare topics, medical products and services–all in a B2B environment. You live by the Creative Strategy Brief and leveraging SEO to connect more customers to our content. Collaborating with smart, engaged people comes second nature to you. And crafting the most compelling campaign message to the right audience–all to drive customer action–is your passion.

  • Work with a highly-skilled and strategic Creative Team, reporting to the creative director and partnering with a number of design partners

  • Understand how to work within brand guidelines while pushing creative into new territories

  • Collaborate with strategic leaders and client partners to better understand customers’ needs and translate that into compelling creative approaches

  • Translate complex, healthcare related information into engaging, conversational “tight” advertising copy that connects with our target audience–from healthcare workers to supply chain leaders

  • Write about a wide variety of healthcare products and solutions, aligning with the Brief and reflecting the Medline brand voice

  • Collaborate with design partners to concept and develop breakthrough, conceptual campaign creative including web pages, emails and programmatic, video and brochures, all driving customers to take action while building brand equity

  • Develop engaging and creative video scripts tailored to various budget constraints, ensuring high-quality content production that meets client needs.

  • Build web pages that drive engagement, and build our authority score, incorporating SEO into your marketing copy, beginning with the wireframe through to final copy

  • Strategically present your ideas to leadership, from concept through final layout, referencing the Brief and detailing how your work supports the strategy

  • Manage an ever-evolving project load balancing jobs in varying states of completion, ensuring all deadlines are met and quality is maintained

  • Roll with leadership feedback and unexpected changes or pivots while meeting tight deadlines

  • Stay up to date on B2B marketing trends, best practices and other data reflecting customer behavior and an ever-changing healthcare industry

  • Familiarity integrating generative AI software into existing workflows to increase efficiency (augment copy development and tasks)

  • Thoughtfully write and create engaging PowerPoint presentations for leadership targeting healthcare leaders

  • Demonstrate a passion for writing about Medline and its positive impact on the overall performance of healthcare operations

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English or related field.

Relevant Work Experience

  • At least 4 years copywriting experience writing marketing copy aimed at a broad audience.

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant Work Experience

  • Copywriting experience within an advertising agency, in-house marketing department or medical related field.
