Core One is seeking a Logistics Planner & Graphic Support professional to support the program. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance. This position is contingent upon contract award. 

 

Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Perform logistics planning actions that involve evaluating, coordinating, and addressing logistical requirements to support the USSOCOM Wargaming, Warfighter Talks, and Capabilities development efforts
  • Examine information to figure out what is relevant to a problem and what methods might be used to analyze it, and provide recommendations to address the problem
  • Function independently in a fast paced, high-energy environment with minimal supervision
  • Support team members with equipment and supply needs, and assist with other department specific projects
  • Synthesize complex data into comprehensible graphics via PowerPoint, Microsoft Publisher, Adobe Photoshop, and other graphics software
  • Provide administrative support including:
    • Manage calendars, including organize and plan daily schedules
    • Setup team meetings, schedule conference rooms and prep sessions when necessary o Attend meetings to take comprehensive notes or to present information
    • Print documents / read-aheads, including prepare and compile presentation slides o Review E-mails for priority information and meeting requests
    • Troubleshoot schedules as needed
    • Stay updated on priorities on a daily basis
    • Coordinate travel and create itineraries
  • Prepare briefs, information papers, and presentations as required utilizing Microsoft Office family of products (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Access)
  • Develop and maintain an electronic resource, to include key points of contact, to be used for mission continuity that may be accessed by all stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 3 years strategic/operational level experience (military, contract or civilian) working with DoD Services, Combatant Commands, supporting strategic engagements programs (e.g., wargames, experimentation, Warfighter Talks, Service staff-level conferences and events)
  • 3 years of experience developing verbal and written products at the general/flag-level command staff
  • 3 years’ experience in planning for large-scale (>30 individual) events on behalf of senior leadership, to include: conducting research and presenting recommendations on various venues, scheduling, and leading site surveys, and presenting site survey results to the Government
  • 2 years’ experience using web-based programs, social media platforms and Microsoft Office products (e.g,, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint, Access, Excel etc.), Adobe Photoshop, and other graphics software
  • Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance
