Program Overview:
This position supports an experimental defense program with rapidly changing requirements. The work involves developing and running cutting-edge simulations that span from seafloor to space, enabling advanced wargaming and mission analysis. Overview:
We are seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer to support the development, integration, and analysis of Battle Management Command and Control (BMC2) simulations using the AFSIM platform. Candidates must demonstrate hands-on experience in modeling complex systems, performing simulations for operational scenarios, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making and system evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute BMC2-focused simulations in AFSIM.
• Integrate operational scenarios, platforms, and sensors into simulation environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, platform, infrastructure, and test engineers to ensure simulation fidelity.
• Support verification and validation of BMC2 systems within a simulated environment.
• Maintain documentation of simulation configurations, procedures, and results.

Required Qualifications (must-have):

• Direct, hands-on experience with AFSIM including scripting, modeling, and behavior development.
• Proficiency in C++.
• Strong understanding of BMC2 systems and operational concepts.
• Experience working with large-scale distributed simulations.
• Experience running and analyzing campaign and/or theater-level simulations.
• Strong understanding of CONOPS, mission analysis, and tactics development.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical discipline.
• US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
