Summary:
In this role, you will support our non-provider analytics team by analyzing and interpreting large claims datasets in SQL and/or SAS. You will work both independently and collaboratively to perform analyses, deliver actionable insights, and develop data-driven solutions for stakeholders such as suppliers and pharmaceutical companies. You will navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and use your knowledge of healthcare terminology (e.g., MS-DRG, ICD-10) to ensure solutions are accurate, relevant, and impactful.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for leading analytical insights, guiding junior team members, and executing analytic insights that will be integral to strategic decisions.
Execute complex analytics that span multiple products and platforms.
Utilize advanced data visualization tools to create and guide team members in creating compelling visual stories with complex data.
Manage advanced data management tools and techniques to perform complex statistical analysis for research projects and ensure regulatory compliance independently.
Qualifications:
Relevant Degree preferred.
5 or more years of experience required.
Advanced knowledge of MS Suite required.
Strong analytical, database, and spreadsheet skills preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills preferred.
Experience with SQL and Power BI preferred.
Ability to plan, organize, and manage time across multiple tasks working individually or as a member of a cross-functional team.
Broad knowledge of Vizient/Sg2 portfolio of products and services preferred.
Healthcare experience highly preferred.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $146,700.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
