We are currently looking for a Paint Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our team in Smyrna, TN and will be a full-time role.

A Day in the Life:   

• Assist in the planning and execution of paint manufacturing engineering project(s). These projects are based on need by shop within the plant and change on a year-to-year basis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, analyze processes, and identify areas for improvement
• Participate in the development and implementation of solutions to optimize paint engineering manufacturing operations
• Conduct research and provide recommendations based on findings to support project goals
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate paint manufacturing project progress and results to stakeholders
• Support the team in daily paint engineering tasks and contribute to ongoing initiatives

Who We’re Looking for: 

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate degree in Engineering- mechanical, industrial, or electrical preferred
• Strong organization ability with keen attention to detail
• Self-motivated and ability to multi-task with day-to-day priorities
• Great communication skills both written and oral
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Access, etc.
• Ability to perform work onsite at Smyrna, TN
