The main function of this position is to supply customers by delivering ALC's liquid and gas products by tanker truck in accordance with ALC's guidelines and procedures, using the appropriate equipment, complying with transportation laws and regulations, and promoting ALC's safety and quality objectives.
Obtains the route sheet and ensures that it contains all necessary information; Gathers all documentation and equipment necessary for the route;
Inspects equipment before departure and records any anomalies which must be corrected in the inspection report and
informs the maintenance coordinator and repairer. Reviews the condition of the roads to be used and customer requirements.
Ensures that the truck is loaded in accordance with procedures and regulations; Upon arrival at the delivery point, checks the condition of the equipment and the customer's installation.
Records any anomalies observed on site and submits them to their supervisor at the end of the route or contacts the repairer for any delivery non-compliance. Unloads the product into the customer's tank according to established procedures.
Provide accurate delivery slips for all ALC products sold to customers to ensure accurate billing. Collect all relevant information in the barcode system. Ensure that all forms and records for which they are responsible are completed correctly.
Required qualifications:
You have a vocational diploma in Class 1 truck transportation.
You have at least 5 years of experience as a Class 1 driver.
You make safety your priority.
You are very conscientious and attentive on the road.
Desired qualifications:
1 year of experience driving a tanker truck (a major asset).
