Position Summary:  

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for improving operational efficiency across supply chain processes through data-driven analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. This role requires strong analytical expertise, deep knowledge of supply chain operations, and the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.

The position supports key indirect and COE sourcing initiatives, including MCO Bowler management, SPIR implementation and governance, spend quality improvement, supplier simplification programs and other initiatives ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Business Analysis & Continuous Improvement

  • Collect, validate, and analyze data from multiple business units to identify improvement opportunities. 

  • Lead initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency, data quality, and process effectiveness.

  • Develop and implement monitoring and audit mechanisms to ensure issue resolution and process compliance.

KPI Monitoring & Reporting

  • Analyze Strategic Sourcing KPIs and provide insights on performance trends and key drivers.

  • Support monthly KPI reviews and leadership discussion through details analysis and reporting.

  • Translate complex date into actionable recommendations to support business decision-making.

Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. Product Materials, Finance, and Operations team) to execute supply chain projects.

  • Manage project portfolios, ensuring timelines, risks, and opportunities are proactively communicated to leadership.

  • Drive timely completion of deliverables aligned with strategic and tactical priorities.

Data Governance & System Support

  • Develop and maintain processes to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across supply chain systems.

  • Support SPIR implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement across multiple plants or business units.

  • Design and maintain workflows and approval processes based on stakeholder requirements.

Analytics, Modelling, & Data Management

  • Develop analytical tools, models, and reports to measure performance and identify optimization opportunities.

  • Evaluate new data sources and enhance data collection methodologies.

  • Perform data mining and analysis to support broader business strategies and operational improvements.

Subject Matter Expertise & Training

  • Serve as subject matter expert in supply chain processes, KPIs, and data management tools.

  • Support training on onboarding for new processes and systems.

  • Partner with stakeholders to define business requirements and design effective solutions.

 

Executive Reporting Support

  • Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive-level Strategic Sourcing reviews.

Team & Operational Support

  • Provide support to team members on day-to-day operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Contribute to departmental targets with measurable impact on business results.

Required Education / Experience / Skills:  

  • Have at least 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, or Business Analytics  

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or other related courses (preferred but not required)

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

  • Experience with data analysis tools (e.g. Power BI) is a plus

  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy

  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience working with both structured and unstructured datasets

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, can work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively within the team

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop practical solutions

  • Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and priorities
