About the Role 

We are looking for an experienced AUTOSAR Security Engineer to join the MBRDI Security team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and validation of automotive security solutions across AUTOSAR-based platforms, ensuring high-quality BSW stacks and robust system security. 

You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to strengthen security frameworks, architectures, and implementations for next-generation automotive systems. 

 

What You Will Do 

  • Be an active member of the Security team at MBRDI, contributing to secure automotive system development 

  • Participate in framework design discussions, providing inputs on tools, methodologies, and architecture choices 

  • Work on AUTOSAR-based systems focusing on: 

  • Security 

  • Ethernet 

  • CAN FD 

  • Develop and enhance security testing frameworks to: 

  • Evaluate supplier BSW stacks 

  • Ensure compliance with security requirements 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to: 

  • Develop and integrate BSW stacks 

  • Improve system quality and robustness 

  • Perform testing, validation, and defect analysis for security-related functionalities 

  • Support integration, debugging, and optimization of AUTOSAR security modules 

 

What You Need to Be Successful 

  • 3–6 years of experience in AUTOSAR-based embedded systems development and security 

  • Strong understanding of AUTOSAR architecture and module interactions 

  • Hands-on experience in AUTOSAR Security stack, including: 

  • CSM (Crypto Service Manager) 

  • SecOC (Secure Onboard Communication) 

  • CryIf (Crypto Interface) 

  • Crypto Stack 

  • Strong knowledge of cryptographic concepts, including: 

  • AES, RSA, ECC 

  • SHA Hashing 

  • Digital Signatures 

  • Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) 

  • Experience in AUTOSAR stack integration (preferably Vector tools) 

  • Strong knowledge of communication protocols: 

  • CAN, CAN FD 

  • LIN, FlexRay 

  • Ethernet (added advantage) 

  • Strong expertise in: 

  • Embedded C programming 

  • Debugging and defect analysis 

  • Experience working with tools such as: 

  • CANoe (Vector) or similar 

 

Bonus Points If You Have 

  • Experience working with Vector AUTOSAR stack tools 

  • Knowledge of automotive microcontrollers and hardware platforms 

  • Exposure to secure communication frameworks in automotive systems 

  • Familiarity with German language (preferred but not mandatory)
