Job Summary:
The Sales Account Manager, Benelux is responsible for maintaining and driving sales in existing accounts and developing new business. The individual is located in the Netherlands and responsible for building successful, long-term relationships with our key retail and distribution partners across the Benelux region. Establishing plans and strategies will deliver sales leadership, working towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. The success of this role will be further reliant upon excellent communication skills, an analytical outlook and professional, confident manner.
How you’ll do it
•Demonstrate the ability to build and/or establish strong relationships with new accounts and within major existing accounts including product managers, buyers, planners, etc.
•Meet or exceed sales and profit goals established by upper management
•Collaborate with entire sales team to ensure best practices and information are shared to maximize results and achieve goals
•Assist customers with all account related questions, issues, or concerns. Provide accurate, timely information to the customers regarding inquiries such as products, pricing, and quotes
•Provide customer recaps for all meetings and take a leadership role to ensure all actionable items are executed upon including delegation of assignments to account representatives
•Follow the sales team’s procedures for managing and maintaining opportunity pipeline, quotes, bids, etc. and be prepared to present that information when requested
•Analyse and understand industry market trends, competition, products, and pricing that may impact sales efforts and communicate this information to all sales management and other departments as necessary
•Full P&L responsibility for the region.
•Conduct and/or coordinate sales and training meetings as required. Attend all required meetings
•Review and analyse daily sales and compare actual v. projected / plan results and be prepared to present that information when requested
•Travel to tradeshows and customer sites required. Depending on assignment, international travel may be required
What you’ll need
•3-5 years’ experience in a Consumer Electronics sales role – networking an advantage
•Retail and distribution experience in Benelux
•Proven ability to drive sales
•Computer literate with a high degree of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Strong presentation skills required
•Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
•A working knowledge of the market sector and the marketing mix.
•Proven knowledge of P&L and the ability to accurately forecast the business
