The opportunity

The role will work closely with various stakeholders to provide communication for various distribution channels of the HK retirement business.  The candidate will be responsible for curating marketing & communication messages, developing materials to support effective channel communication and also need to liaise and coordinate with communication peers and key stakeholders from the insurance and asset management units in executing customer communications as required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work with different stakeholders from our distribution channels to ensure a smooth execution of communication and engagement programs that will enhance Manulife MPF/pension image and position to achieve both acquisition and retention targets
  • Support the team in the planning and implementation of channel education and engagement initiatives in preparation for the launch of eMPF
  • Actively involved in various copywriting, video production and event management
  • Keep informed of developments in the fields of marketing and communications, and use this information to help the team operate with initiative and innovation

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong marketing and communication (both oral and written) skills
  • Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications, and social media content creation, monitoring and management
  • Experience in collaborating with agents, banks and brokers an advantage
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly while managing numerous projects simultaneously
  • Superb interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time-management skills

What we are looking for

  • University graduate with Degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or Communications
  • 4+ years of solid experience in corporate/marketing communications, preferably from leading brands/ MPF or financial industr
  • Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Enthusiastic with a "can-do" attitude
  • Creative, self-motivated and willing to challenge status quo
  • Strength in issue management and problem solving
  • Highly organized and attention to details
  • Ability to deliver quality work under pressure
  • Quick to adopt new skills and adapt to fast-changing environment
