Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as a software detective, providing a dynamic service that identifies and resolves issues within various components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to troubleshoot software problems, analyzing system performance, and ensuring that applications run smoothly to support business operations effectively. You will engage with users to understand their challenges and work towards implementing solutions that enhance system functionality and user experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Support MBSE adoption across programs using system models, and traceability.
Enable MBSE workflows including ECU, MiL, and co-simulation.
Align mechanical, controls, software, and systems teams on a common development flow.
Support toolchain integration, data consistency, and best-practice workflows.
Coach teams and support pilot use cases (e.g., HVAC, Brakes).
Professional & Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of automotive embedded systems and ECU architecture
Hands-on or working knowledge of MBSE / SysML concepts
Experience with AUTOSAR (Classic and/or Adaptive) fundamentals
Good understanding of control systems and interaction with mechanical systems
Experience with simulation-driven development (MiL, SiL, co-simulation)
Ability to establish end-to-end traceability (requirements design test)
Strong system thinking and cross-domain communication skills
Good-to-Have Skills
Hands-on experience with SysML modeling tools like CATIA Magic, IBM Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect
Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, FMI/FMU-based co-simulation
Exposure to Amesim / GT-SUITE / ANSYS
Knowledge of V-Model, New Product Dev Lifecycle, Agile in automotive context
Experience with variant and configuration management
Toolchain integration experience (e.g., requirements, simulation, version control)
Certifications: INCOSE (ASEP/CSEP), AUTOSAR, MBSE/SysML.
Additional Information:
1) BE / ME / MS in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Systems Engineering
2) Proven track record of delivering 3DX customizations, extensions, or integrations in a corporate or consulting environment.
3) 7 to 10 years of hands-on development experience on the Dassault Syst mes 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
4) Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5) Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
6) Prior exposure to manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or industrial equipment domains is a plus.
