Manager – MinuteClinic Revenue Cycle Analytics

Position Summary

The position of Manager – MinuteClinic Revenue Cycle Analytics will be responsible for developing dashboards and analytics for the MinuteClinic Revenue Cycle team, with a primary focus on building and scaling reporting in Google BigQuery. This will include creation of reporting assets in BigQuery that ingest data from various sources (Epic Clarity/Caboodle, Snowflake), data preparation and troubleshooting using database tools, automation of manual tasks, and supporting ad-hoc data reporting needs. This position requires technical ability in SQL and data visualization as well as excellent communication skills for collaborating with business stakeholders. In addition, the individual must be able to learn the drivers of the business and proactively identify potential insights and opportunities.

Responsibilities :

  • Deliver insights to the MinuteClinic Revenue Cycle operational teams that drive prioritization, resource management, and other key decisions
  • Drive operational improvement through new and existing tools in the areas of automation, BigQuery, Tableau, etc. that will enhance the quality of the analytics and the reduce the effort required
  • Design, build, and maintain reporting assets in Google BigQuery (datasets, tables, and views) that support operational dashboards and ad-hoc analysis
  • Proactively identify and analyze opportunities to address issues at their root cause level to better support the department’s AR collection opportunities, minimize bad debt and to drive overall efficiency of the department’s Accounts Receivables management
  • Drive analytics that go beyond hindsight reporting; provide valuable insights, build predictive models, and promote optimization
  • Timely produce ad-hoc revenue cycle reporting requests, reporting to support new lines of business, and enhancements of existing reports

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of related professional work experience

  • 1+ year of analytics experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent analytical skills with experience working with large data sets

  • 3 years of experience with data visualization software, such as Tableau

  • Experience collaborating with key stakeholders to gather and analyze needs and requirements to design and implement robust analytic solutions that support the identified needs

  • Experience with Google BigQuery (including building reporting assets and optimizing queries)

  • Experience with Snowflake

  • Experience with Epic Clarity and/or Caboodle data models

  • Healthcare analytics experience; revenue cycle experience is a plus

  • Independent problem solver with a strong desire to learn new skills

  • Proven ability to deliver results. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow through

  • Advanced SQL skills

  • Experience with python

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field

Education

Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$60,300.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
