About This Role
As part of our Construction Operations team, your core responsibility will be to review survey photos and determine the best way to complete the PV installation. This includes reviewing the electrical, roof, and structure of the home as well as verifying the layout of the design and overall production.
Overall Responsibilities
Review incoming accounts and determine if any electrical, roofing or general construction projects will be needed to make the home compatible with residential solar
Create a full scope of work and deliverables for the sales representative/customer, and determine who will be responsible for the completion of the construction project
Run all electrical load calculations
Find creative solutions and problem-solve to avoid construction delays when possible to enable higher throughput of solar projects
Perform daily QA/QC inspections on complete construction projects to ensure quality and safety standards are met
Liaison with Clients, regulatory agencies, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers and/or internal departments on quality-related matters
Perform daily and weekly QA/QC inspections as required to ensure the correct scope of work is called out
Ensure deliverables are precise and accurate to guide the PV installation process
Order materials for electrical upgrades
Work with local utilities and AHJs directly to fully understand the requirements
Perform other needed job tasks as requested by leadership
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years in construction and solar (Extensive knowledge with the NEC, Utility, AHJ, Financiers Requirements)
Must have extensive knowledge of the solar installation process, roofing and electrical wiring
Able to influence, lead teams and engage with training
Ability to read and understand construction drawings
Ability to read and understand electrical single-line and three-line diagrams
Ability to read and understand manufacturing equipment standards
Apprentice electrician license or equivalent trades license/experience preferred

Ability to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and the like
Able to engage in repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
Comfortable working on the roof or in small, enclosed spaces
Operate machinery and/or power tools
Operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment when required
